Helen was born December 4, 1940, to Edward James and Nora Marie (Cole) Chamberlain. She had four siblings, Edward James Chamberlain and Rita Marie (Griffin) Chamberlain (both deceased) and Thomas Robert Chamberlain and Sister Mary Catherine Chamberlain, IHM.
She attended Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish School in North Philadelphia and West Philadelphia Girls’ Catholic High School.
She served in the United States Army for three years and worked for Yellow Pages.
Helen enjoyed her family and friends and kept in touch with school friends throughout her life. She was open-hearted and enjoyed gatherings of family and both work and neighborhood friends. She loved donning her green sweatshirt to root for the Eagles. She bowled with her Yellow Pages colleagues.
She was the devoted mother to Kristin and her grandchildren: Devin, Logan, and Riley, who lovingly called her Mimi.
In addition to Lansdale, Pa., she also lived in North Philadelphia, West Philadelphia, Germany, New York and Mt. Airy and Willow Grove, both in Pennsylvania.
She was a faithful member of the Roman Catholic Church and was a proud member of St. Stanislaus Parish. She will be remembered as a forgiving person and for lightening her burdens and those of people around her with her sense of humor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where her family will receive friends in Church, beginning at 9:00 AM, prior to Mass.
