Gloria Mizdail, beloved wife and mother, passed away Monday morning, August 14, 2023.
Gloria was born on July 22nd, 1931 in Reading PA, daughter of the late Ella (Flamm) and Edward Faller and the devoted wife of Conrad Mizdail (preceded in death).
She grew up in Reading and loved working alongside her father and brothers in their pretzel factory (Faller Pretzels). When she wasn’t working, she could be found with her tight group of friends who called themselves the Buzzin Dozen.
Her marriage to Connie was one of the joys of her life and they were blessed to have celebrated 65 wedding anniversaries. They lived in Lansdale and raised four children. They have six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She loved singing in the church choir, watching the Phillies and always one step ahead of her husband’s shenanigans. She loved raising her children and grandchildren. To know Gloria, is to know a true giver.
For the past seven years, she has been living at Park Creek Assisted Living. She has made many friends there and was loved by many. She was the best baker there and was always winning at Bingo.
Gloria is survived by her children; son Rick of East Norriton; son Ray and Theresa(Conwell) of Lansdale; daughter Therese(Teri) and Joe Monastero of Schwenksville; and daughter Lisa and Dennis Forbes of Jamison. Grandchildren: James (married to Amanda), Erin, Kelly (married to Kyle), and Stephanie. Great grandchildren: Caide, Ethan, Bryson, Jocelyn, Cambria, Jake, Bear.
Preceded in death by; Siblings Ray, Bob, Ben, Stella; Grandchildren Renee, Janelle; great Grandchild baby Isabelle.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Gloria’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 18th at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 9:45 AM, in Church, prior to Mass. Burial will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914.
