Florence Kollmar of North Wales Pa passed away peacefully at Abington Jefferson Hospital on Saturday August 19 at the age of 80 after a valiant fight against Pneumonia. Florence was born September 23 1942 daughter of the late Joseph and Florence (Kelly) Connelly and was the oldest of 7 children. She attended the University of Penn where she studied to become a dental hygienist. She married James Kollmar on October 24, 1964. They lived a wonderful life together in Lansdale, PA where they welcomed 4 children. She was known for her loving spirit, kind soul, her infectious laughter, even at herself, and standing up for those that couldn’t do it for themselves.
Florence is survived by her husband James Kollmar, her children Kelianne Luther (David), James Kollmar (Linda), Kevin Kollmar (Meredith), and Meghan Rhoads (David); her grandchildren Kara Devine (Zachary), Kaitlin Luther, Kasey Luther, Emma Kollmar, Jack Kollmar, Jacob Kollmar, Benjamin Kollmar, William Kollmar, Anna Kollmar, Brynn Kollmar, Finnegan Rhoads, Ella Rhoads, and Addison Rhoads. Her siblings Joseph Connelly(Rita), Dolores Connelly, Brian Connelly (Eileen), Richard Connelly (Lisa), Tommy Connelly (Denise), and Bill Connelly (Lori) along with many other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents and niece Shannon Connelly. Please join us in honoring the celebration of her life on Saturday August 26th, 2023 at St. Stanislaus RC Church, Lansdale, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Florence’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where family will receive friends in Church from 9:00 to 10:45, prior to Mass. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Road, in Chalfont.
Florence was a great person. She was a friendly people person. She was crazy about her children and grandchildren and, of course Jim.
She certainly will be missed and left us too soon.
