Margaret Amei Reynolds–12/30/2023

Margaret Amei Reynolds, age 83, passed away on December 30, 2023. She was born in Lansdale, PA on February 20, 1940, to Barney and Fran (Schummer) Reynolds and was a longtime resident of Lancaster PA and recently Elizabethtown, PA.

“Amei,” as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was a very spiritual person with a wide range of interests. She loved sewing, photography, cooking, drawing, gardening, decorating, dancing, puzzles, the Central Market in Lancaster PA, watching Jeopardy, and socializing with family and friends. She loved her pets, especially Boo (her beloved poodle).

She leaves behind her children, Joe (Jane) Gunder of Hampton, VA, Chris (Janet) Gunder of Irving, TX, and Amy (James) Ambriola of Elizabethtown, PA, as well as her grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, and Jessie Gunder, and her step-grandsons Addison & Anthony Ambriola, and great grandson, Ashton Ambriola. She is also survived by her brother, Bill “Barney” Reynolds of Schwenksville, PA. Amei is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Frannie Brogan.

Arrangements for her burial are still pending. In lieu of flowers, it would be her request to make any donations in her honor to Saint Jude’s Children’s Fund, at www.stjude.org, or your local Pet Pantry.

There will be a brief graveside service on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 12 Noon at St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446 (located behind the Church, and next to the parking lot entrance to the Cemetery.)

  1. What an interesting and beautiful soul. Peg (Mom), you will certainly be missed. You had the ability to make a terribly confused teenager and help her through years of turbulence. Thank you.
    Love always and Blessed Be.
