Elizabeth A. Pester-Denardo, “Betty” passed away peacefully at the age of 93 on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. She was born on December 1, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Agnes Kelly (nee Granahan). Betty was a resident of Artman Home in Ambler, PA and formerly of North Wales, PA.
Betty is survived by her husband of 27 years, James (Jim) Denardo, devoted daughters, Marianne Streisel and her husband William (Bill) Streisel of Perkasie, PA and Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Boris and her husband Leonard (Len) Boris of Montverde, FL, daughter-in-law Kathleen (Kathy) Pester, step-daughters Lois Guldner and her husband Donald (Don), Christine Turino of Philadelphia PA; loving grandchildren Bridget Glaeser, Leonard (Len) Boris, Jr., Andrew (Andy) Boris, Sue Ann Glassford, Jeanette (Jen) Geiger, Maureen Pester, Kathleen Pester, Elaina Streisel, William (Joey) Streisel, Nicole Streisel, step-grandchildren Kyle Guldner, Ryan Guldner, Gabrielle Turino, Gianna Turino, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, John (Pete) Pester, her daughter, Kathleen (Kathy) Pester, and her son, Ralph Pester, and her eight siblings, Agnes Kelly, Thomas Kelly, John Kelly, Theresa Kelly, Ralph Kelly, James Kelly, Margaret Green (nee Kelly), and Joseph Kelly.
Betty was a devout Catholic who prayed daily. She was a former parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of St. Stanislaus Church. Betty’s family was her priority. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, ceramics, sewing, crocheting, and knitting.
Betty’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 15 at 10:30am at Saint Stanislaus Church 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15th from 9:30am to 10:30am at the church before the funeral mass. Betty’s Interment will follow the funeral mass at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken 199 Old Gulph Road, Conshohocken, PA.
