Nancy Ann Liberto, age 88, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Jefferson Lansdale Hospital while surrounded by her family.  

She had been a resident of Elm Terrace Gardens since 2018.

Born in Philadelphia on March 11, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Patrick and Catherine (nee Murphy) Mahoney.

She was a proud graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School.

On October 19, 1958, she married her beloved husband, Raymond Liberto, who passed away in 2005.

She worked as a Secretary with Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture until her retirement.

Nancy enjoyed volunteering with Catholic Social Services, working in the food bank in Norristown, as well as devoting her time and talents to teach English as a second language at St. Stanislaus Grade School.

Her fandom for Notre Dame football could not be matched.

She was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. 

Nancy’s greatest love was her family, and she enjoyed spending time with them and cooking her Italian feasts for Sunday dinner.

Surviving are her sons Joseph Liberto, John Liberto and his wife Kim, and Raymond Liberto and his wife Tara and her daughter Donna Levasseur and her husband Andre, grandchildren, Fawn Wile and her husband Zach, Alex Liberto and his fiancé Emily Weaver, Jason Liberto and Adrianna Baronsky (Jason’s significant other), Noelle Levasseur, Gabrielle Liberto and Raymond Liberto, great grandchildren Rae Wile and Grayson Liberto as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by brothers Edward Mahoney and Jerome Mahoney, and sisters Margaret Updyke, and Jean Sowieralski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday morning, May 13, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave Lansdale, PA 19446, where there will be a viewing from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM in Church, prior to Mass.
