Dorothy “Dot” Wichert (née Hanselman), 77, passed away at home on June 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. Dot was born on August 4, 1946, in Yardley, PA.
She attended Pennsylvania School of Nursing studying anesthesiology before honorably serving in the Navy. She was a well respected RN for the remainder of her career at Saint Francis Hospital in Trenton, NJ. While working, Dot took time to clown around as Gizmo bringing joy to many.
Dot is survived by her husband of 51 years, Steven Wichert, her daughter, Dawn Moser (nèe Wichert), beloved grandchildren, Eric and Jasmine, three siblings and many nieces and nephews.
Dot was much loved by friends and family. She enjoyed spending time reading and crocheting, and filling her retirement with time with friends, volunteering at the Elks, and ladies bowling league.
