Marie R. (Mary) Bartle–7/28/2024

Marie R. (Mary) Bartle, age 100, of Lansdale, Pa., died Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Normandy Farm Estates.  

She was the loving wife of the late Frank Bartle.

Mrs. Bartle was born March 9, 1924, in Lansdale to Tobia and Sarah “Fannie” (nee Antonaccio) Pietrangelo. She was one of ten children.  Surviving is her sister Theresa (George) Puia, and preceding her in death are sisters, Florence Palermo, Josephine Molettiere, Marguerite DiLello, Adele Neidig and brothers Samuel, Anthony, Leon, and Carl Pietrangelo.

After High School she attended Hairstyling school in Philadelphia and later owned and operated a Beauty Salon in Glenside, PA.  After years of being a home maker and raising 4 boys, she returned to the workplace at 53 years old, and spent the next 32 years in retail sales.

Mrs. Bartle was a lifelong devoted member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

In addition to her sister, she is survived by her loving sons Robert Bartle (Deborah), Anthony Bartle  (Sharon) and William Bartle (Sharon Herzog), a daughter Kathleen Canning (preceded by her husband Ed) as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and siblings, she was preceded by her beloved son Frank Bartle (who is survived by his wife Kathy).

Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:20 AM, in Church, prior to Mass.

Interment Green Lawn Cemetery in North Wales
