Fiore “Fred” Cancelliere, age 84, of Lansdale, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. Mary Manor.  He had been in failing health.

Born in Longano, Italy, on February 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Sabatino and Lunziata Cancelliere.  

He came to the United States in 1955 and first settled in Telford and then Lansdale in 1957.

Fred was a very hard worker and became a Custodian working for the North Penn School District at Hancock School which later became AM Kulp Elementary School.

He retired in 2006.

Fred was a member of the Cannoneers Club as well as The Son’s of Italy.  

He was a avid award-winning Bowler and even bowled a perfect game.

Fred was Catholic and a member of St. Stanislaus Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Domenic Cancelliere, Sr., his sisters Isabelle Zemalis and Philomena Phillips, his Aunt Phyllis Vangeli and his nephew Domenic Cancelliere, Jr.

Surviving are his nieces Angela Noetzel, JoAnne Cancelliere-Small (husband Raymond), Lisa Phillips and Janel Phillips (husband Robert Harris, Jr.).

Relatives and Friends are invited to Fred’s Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where there will be a Viewing from 9:00 AM to 10:20 AM, in Church, prior to Mass.  

Interment at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
