Werner F. Gross, 91 of Lansdale, PA departed this life on Wednesday, October 9th, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Werner was the son of the late Frank and Martha Gross. He was originally from Northeast Philadelphia. Werner went to Saint Henry’s Elementary School and graduated from Northeast Catholic High School. He completed his education at Dobbins Trade School to become a Tool and Die Maker at Ellisco until his retirement. After retirement, he worked at Saint Stanislaus Church as a sacristan. In 1952 Werner was drafted into the Korean War and served until the end of the war. In 1956 Werner and Antoinette were married and began their marriage and family together.
Werner was preceded in death by his parents, his niece Patricia Welsh and his brother-in-law Ed Welsh and his sister Annaliese Welsh and son-in-law Tomas Mallozzi.
Werner is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette Gross (nee Rullo), Daughters Ann Marie Peterson (nee Gross), son-in-law, Eric Peterson, Suzanne Sherwood (nee Gross) and son-in-law, Christopher Sherwood, Terri Bryan (nee Gross) and son-in-law Charles Bryan.
Grandchildren, TJ Mallozzi and Colleen Mallozzi, Dan Mallozzi and Robin Mallozzi, Michael Mallozzi, Laura Bachman and Joe Bachman, Alyssa Johnson and Travis Johnson, CJ Bryan, Matthew Peterson, Alex Peterson and Addy Peterson Great Grandchildren, Tommy Mallozzi, Madison Mallozzi, Miles Mallozzi, Danny Mallozzi and Benjamin Mallozzi, Hailey Rose Bachman and Tucker Bachman and Theodore Johnson and his beloved 14 nieces and nephews.
Werner was a devoted member of Saint Stanislaus Church and his hobbies included, remodeling rooms, wood working, gardening, reading Readers Digest, watching the Phillies and Eagles games, sharing his knowledge, and caring for his dogs.
Werner will always be remembered for his kindness and his love for his family. We could not have asked for a better Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. We will miss you everyday but your memory will live on in our hearts of all those who loved you.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing on Saturday, October 26, 2024, beginning at 12 pm at Simcox – McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446. A Service will follow at 1 PM.
Interment will be on October 28th at 2:00pm at Washington Crossing Cemetery.

I am so very sorry to read about Werner. I offer you my deepest condolences. Werner was a good man, helpful, respectful, a truly down-to-earth guy whom I will always remember with fondness. I know you had a wonderful life together, having been married for so many years and having raised a family you can definitely be proud of. Please accept my warmest sympathy. You are in my prayers.
