Wieslaw Weslaw Witynski, 72, of Hatfield, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at home. He was born on December 6, 1951 in Łomża, Poland. He was the son of the late Józef Wityński and Jadwiga Bielecka Wityńska. The youngest sibling to Tadeusz Wityński, Krystyna Dolinska (Wityńska) and Irena Wierzbowska (Wityńska). Wieslaw went to school in Poland to become a cabinet maker and worked in that field until he immigrated to the United States on April 27, 1976 at 24 years old. He was also in a band in his younger years in Poland and created his own band when he came to the states. He loved playing the drums, but could also play the guitar, accordion and had a beautiful singing voice. He met his wife Diane, at a Polish dance club in North, New Jersey on Valentines Day in 1985. They have been together for 39 years and married for 35 years. Wieslaw enjoyed spending time with his family, watching soccer and talking to anyone he would meet out in public.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Skawinska) Witynski; children Piotr (Amy) Oledzki; Michael (Ashley) Witynski; and Christina Witynski (Josh Stinger). Grandchildren Luke, Adam and Evelyn Oledzki; Michal and Rebekah Witynski; and Margaret Stinger. His siblings Tadeusz Wityński, Krystyna Dolinska (Wityńska) and Irena Wierzbowska (Wityńska) and numerous nieces and nephews. Wieslaw will be greeted in heaven by his son Gregory Wes Witynski, his granddaughter Rylee Nevaeh Witynski, his parents Józef Wityński and Jadwiga Bielecka Wityńska, in-laws Anna Tokarz and Kazimierz Skawinski and his 3 brother-in-laws; Stanislaw Oscilowski; Stanislaw Sudol and Bogdan Wierzbowski.
Visitation will be held at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, in Lansdale, on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 9:00-10:20am. Mass will follow beginning at 10:30am.
