Marie Grace Donato, 94, of Lansdale, PA., died on Wednesday, October 24, 2024, at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. She had been in failing health recently.
Born on May 12, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary (nee Viglione) Donato.
She was the sister of Rose (Donato) Monzo and Peter Donato, both of who preceded her.
Ms. Donato worked for Bell Telephone in Philadelphia until her early retirement in the 1970s.
She loved movies, broadway musicals, and the voices of Tony Bennett, Perry Como, and Frank Sinatra.
Ms. Donato enjoyed reading and loved walking throughout the center-city area and south Philadelphia as well as spending time at the Jersey Shore.
Marie is survived by her nieces, Angela Bresadola and Marianne Monzo of Harleysville, PA, and her nephew Joseph Monzo, of Lafayette Hill, PA. She is also survived by her great-niece and nephews, Carly, Joseph, Thomas, John, and Frank Monzo and Mark Bresadola.
There will be a graveside service at11 AM on Monday, November 4, 2024, at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, Pa 19446
I have always loved Aunt Marie. She always made me feel so loved and welcome. I will miss her.
