Anna Dwyer of Lansdale, PA., went to her eternal resting place in Heaven on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at the age of 88. “Mom-Mom” was the ultimate family matriarch as a devoted wife of 62 years and loving daughter, sister, aunt, sister in-law, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was always fashionable but never late.

Born Nov. 10, 1936, in Philadelphia, Anna was the only daughter of Cornelius and Catherine (McGovern) Lawn. She was an Administrative Executive at Gwynedd Mercy College for nearly two decades. After retiring, she volunteered at both Corpus Christi Church and Lansdale Hospital for more than 12 years.

Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul L Dwyer Jr., her proud parents, Cornelius and Catherine (McGovern) Lawn, and her caring 7 brothers John, William, James, Joseph, Edward, Francis and Vincent Lawn. She is survived by her five devoted children, Maureen Whelan (Bill), Paul Dwyer (Kathy), Joseph Dwyer (Jenn), Jim Dwyer (Mag) and Lynn Gorham (John); 18 adoring grandchildren, Katelyn Whelan, Lindsay Whelan, Chelsea Whelan, Heather Whelan, Sean Whelan, Dennis Dwyer (Clare), Matthew Dwyer, Kayla Blanchard (Peter), Madison Dwyer, Mackenzie Dwyer, Delaney Dwyer, Brendan Dwyer, Jimmy Dwyer, Megan Dwyer, Samantha Gorham, Bailey Gorham, Liam Gorham and Jack Gorham; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Anna’s faith and family have always been at the center of her life as a constant source of comfort, pride and joy. She loved socializing with her family and friends – always with music, dancing and laughing- and a good Manhattan. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, brain teasers and sweet treats.

Anna’s celebration of life will be held Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446 with a 9-10:45 am viewing followed by Mass at 11 am. For those unable to attend in person, please join us virtually at www.corpuschristilansdale.org/live
