On February 13, 2025, William (Bill) Johnson, 60, passed peacefully with family at his side.
He was born in Philadelphia on February 10, 1965, to William and Diane (Lecas) Johnson. At a young age, his family moved to Elkins Park, PA. He graduated from Cheltenham High School and then went on to graduate from Gwynedd Mercy University with a Degree in Education.
Bill started his career teaching at St. Agnes/Sacred Heart Catholic School in Hilltown, PA. He then went on to teach at Visitation B.V.M. Catholic School in Eagleville, Pa. Bill was a cherished teacher and faculty member and mentor to many students. He loved everyone whom he came in contact with – past and present students, faculty and staff members, family, and friends.
Bill was very passionate about his career; however, when he was not working, he spent his time listening to music and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. Bill was able to watch the Superbowl and cheer on his beloved Eagles. He then viewed the parade from his new Heavenly Home.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Olivia Johnson, of North Wales, his ex-wife Maryann (nee Hylinski) Johnson of North Wales, his father William Johnson, and his wife Christine, of Philadelphia, his mother Diane Johnson of King of Prussia, and many additional family members.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Visitation B.V.M Church, 196 North Trooper Road Eagleville, PA 19403. Visitation will be from 9 am until the time of service.
Thank you to his Visitation school family for months of continued loving support, for giving Bill a place to call home, and for supporting his family during this difficult time. We are touched and very appreciative of your loving support and generosity.
In lieu of flowers donation’s in Bill’s name can be made to Visitation B.V.M. School, 190 N. Trooper Rd., Trooper, PA 19403, online at www.school.visitationbvm.org/support-us

Mr. Johnson was such a kind and caring soul, that I had to honor of meeting. He cared about all his students and touched the hearts of me and the all my classmates. He will be greatly missed.
A dedicated teacher, God bless him! May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace forever with our Lord and His Blessed Mother.

Mr Johnson was such an amazing man! My granddaughter Riley is a student at Visitation. She adored Mr Johnson. They both made a point to high five each other every morning at drop off. She is only 8 and struggling with the fact that you aren’t going to come back. I told her as a tribute to him every time she misses him to high five up to heaven because I know he will always be watching over her. Rest easy Mr Johnson…. We will miss you forever. Riley will never forget you!
