Jeffrey Zischang, age 58, of Wayne, PA., passed away on February 11, 2025, at Kindred Hospital in Havertown. He had been in failing health.
Born in Sellersville, PA., he was the son of the late George and June (nee Hamm) Zischang.
Everyone who knew Jeff liked him. He touched so many lives with his friendly personality. He always had a sweet smile and a handshake when he greeted friends or potential friends.
Jeff graduated from North Penn High School and lived with his mother, June Bargher, and then at a group home where he made many friends.
While he lived at home, he participated in the Special Olympics every year and was very good at basketball.
He loved music, especially Elvis Presley. He liked watching wrestling a lot. He also loved Spiderman movies and looking at magazines.
Although Jeff experienced many health problems and major operations in his life, he always kept his sweet disposition and quiet ways.
This is a final farewell to you, friend. You lived your life well and you will be greatly missed and remembered.
Jeff is survived by his brother, Michael Zischang and his wife Cheryl. He was a loving uncle to Michael’s children, Shawn, Chris, Matthew and Stephanie Zischang. He is also survived by his close friend, Lisa Herdman, as well as many other people who he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446, where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, prior to the Service.
Interment will be private at a later date.
I know you are in Heaven, Jeff. Rest in peace in our Lord’s arms. I’ll miss you until I see you again, my friend.
