Carol F. Peacock March 5, 1951 – March 8, 2025

Carol F. Peacock, 74, of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025, at home surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on March 5, 1951, in Lansdale, PA, Carol was the daughter of Frank and Lorraine (Hoyt) Corrado. She grew up in Lansdale and was blessed with many friends and cousins who shared her childhood memories of hopscotch, double-dutch, and hula hoops. Carol was a proud graduate of North Penn High School, Class of 1969, and was a member of color guard.

Carol married the love of her life, Raymond J. Peacock, on June 24, 1988, at St. Maria Goretti Parish in Hatfield, PA. Together, they shared over three decades of marriage filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Carol retired from Gasboy International in 2003, after many years of dedicated service. She later worked part-time at Q&A Technologies. Outside of work, Carol found joy in crafting, baking, line dancing, crocheting, and shopping. She loved bus trips with her girlfriends, and her infamous porch parties were a highlight for family and friends alike. Carol’s hospitality, generosity, and warm spirit brought people together, and her home was always a place of love and laughter.

A devoted member of St. Stanislaus Parish, Carol’s involvement with her faith was an integral part of her life. She was known for her kindness and service, and assisting with the Knights of Columbus’ Breakfast with Santa. Her love for her family and community was immeasurable.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Raymond J. Peacock; her daughters, Terry Knappenberger and Tina Dunning; her grandchildren, Ashley Knappenberger, Erica Knappenberger, Gabrielle Forbes, Justin Knappenberger (Hunter), and Skylar Dunning; and her great-grandsons, Mason Gildner and Wylder Knappenberger. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Alice M. Peacock; her siblings, William Corrado (Josephine) and Carl Corrado (Cynthia); her nephew Eduardo Corrado; her niece Madeline Corrado-Copenhaver (Matthew); and many other beloved nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lorraine (Hoyt) Corrado; her father-in-law, Raymond A. Peacock; and her brother, Frank G. Corrado III.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 13, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 10:50 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. Carol’s Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM. The interment will take place in the St. Stanislaus Columbarium in Parish Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to support Kidney Cancer Research.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Constellation Hospice and the staff at Asplund Cancer Pavilion for their compassionate care, as well as to all of Carol’s family and friends for their love and support.

  4. My Sister in law Carol is one of the best things that ever happened for my brother and our Family.
    Carol’s infinite kindness and ability to make you so comfortable in her home was always appreciated.
    She was sincerely sweet and honest in our conversations which included a lot of laugher.
    I wish these visits could have been more often but our lives get so busy for that to happen sometimes.
    Carol will be remembered with fond memoires ♥
    My sympathy is felt for everyone that was important In Carol’s life, too many to mention due to the person she was.
