Gerald “Jerry” F. Knebels, age 82, a resident of Elm Terrace Gardens, passed on Sunday March 9th, 2025 surrounded by family.

Jerry was born in Hazelton, PA on September 28, 1942, to John & Agnes (McGowan) Knebels. He was a long time resident of Lansdale and a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School. Jerry was retired from a 35+ year career at Merck. He enjoyed vacationing at the beach and in the Poconos. He had a larger than life, fun-loving personality. 

Jerry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years Patricia A. Knebels (née Donovan); his children Francis Knebels (wife Diane), Jennifer Reith (husband Matthias), Allison Dragoo (husband Joshua); and six grandchildren Connor & Kathryn Knebels, Charles, Augustus, & Caroline Reith, and Maya Dragoo. 

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 17th at Saint Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. Visitation begins at 9:30 with a Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30. The internment will take place at Saint Patrick’s Mausoleum in Norristown, PA. Arrangements are being coordinated through Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home.
