  1. My deepest sympathy to Katie, Sean, Emmett and Winnie,

Donna and I grew very close during our years at Jefferson Diploma School of nursing 1967-1970 and for a few years afterwards. She was a genuine woman. I have always regretted that we lost touch over the miles and years since then. Those few years of deep friendship are still meaningful to me even now. And it is painful to hear that she passed.

Please know that my thoughts are with you now as you grieve the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. She was truly one of a kind. Her memory is in my heart.

  2. Donna will be missed. I had the pleasure of working with her in the postpartum unit at Jefferson Hospital. We had a lot of fun working together, and getting and talking when we retired. May she rest in peace.

  3. To Katie and family. Your mom was the kindest, sweetest person and a great nurse. She loved working with new moms and babies and treated all her patients the same with respect and dignity. She suffered greatly in the latter part of her life and met all of her hurdles with grace and dignity. I am so sorry for your loss.

  4. To Kate and her family. This woman who I absolutely loved was so caring and empathetic was the most beautiful soul I have ever met. Heaven has surely gained a beautiful angel! She will be greatly missed! A beautiful person gone too soon. Her daughter and son in law took her in and I believe they all were better for it. She will be with her family and precious pug dogs whom she dearly loved.
