Margaret “Peggy” Hood—1/14/2026

Margaret “Peggy” Hood, age 64, of Lansdale died January 14, 2026, at her home.

She was born the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (nee Murray) Domzalski on June 2, 1961, in the Feltonville neighborhood of Philadelphia. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her beloved twin sister Catherine Wagner.

Peggy graduated from Mercy High School.

She worked in retail for many years, but her greatest devotion was always caring for others. She lovingly raised her sons, Edward and Christopher, and her niece, Amanda, after the passing of her sister, Catherine. When her children were grown, she devoted herself to caring for her parents in their later years.

Peggy found her greatest joy in time spent with family, supporting Philadelphia sports teams, and caring for her beloved pets.

She also enjoyed watching movies and television, as well as cooking and baking.

Surviving are her loving sons, Edward Hood, Lansdale, Pa., and Christopher Hood (Lacey Webber), Shrewsbury, Mass.; nieces Amanda Wagner, Lansdale, Pa. and Alexandra Domzalski, Florida, and her younger brother Robert Domzalski (Gail) Boothwyn, Pa.

Services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446. There will be a receiving time from 9:30am to 10:20 am. Mass will follow at 10:30am. Interment will follow Mass at St. John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd, Chalfont, PA 18914

Floral memorials are welcome, as are donations to the American Cancer Society.

Thank you to all who have been a part of her beautiful life and to those who have reached out to her family during this very difficult time.

  1. My deepest condolances to her sons and sweet niece, Amanda. I have such loving, fun memories of Peggy and Cathy from the beach and in Philly. They were both wonderful cousins and treated me so lovingly! She was a special part of this world. May memories of Peggy (and Cathy)be a blessing to her family.
