Kathleen P. Gaus, age 88, of North Wales, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (nee Rak) McGinley.

She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls.

Kathleen married her loving husband Thomas on October 21, 1961.

The couple remained devoted to each other for 62 years until Thomas passed away on August 3rd of 2024.

Kathleen worked as a secretary and was a very active and longtime member of St. Martha Catholic Church in North East Philadelphia.

She moved to Montgomery Township in 2018, where she joined St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and became an active member of the Senior’s Club.

Along with her husband Thomas she traveled the world extensively throughout her life and had many adventures.

She was an avid reader and a lifelong fan of the Eagles and the Phillies.
Kathleen had a kind soul and spent her life in service to others.

Her greatest passion was for her family whom she showered with kindness and an unwavering love.

Surviving are her son Thomas and his wife Mary, her sister Mary Novello, her grandchildren Catherine, Elizabeth (Noah), Madeline, Thomas (Kelly), Matthew, John (Nicole), Grace (Andrew) and James (Samantha) as well as her great grandchildren, Luke, Thomas and Philip.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her sister Anne Winiarski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where Kathleen’s viewing will precede Mass from 9:30 to 10:20 AM.
Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
