I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, John Brinkos Sr. He passed away peacefully, on December 7th, at the age of 79, in his home surrounded by friends and family.
He graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School, served in the Army, worked for James D. Morrissey, Inc., and Merck Pharmaceuticals.
Dad enjoyed bowling and had multiple 300 games and 700 series. He was also an avid golfer playing regularly until the end. He was good enough to have a hole in one to his credit. He also shot his age this year.
He is preceded by his parents, Joseph and Lucille Brinkos; his loving wife, Sandra Brinkos; and his grandson, Joseph Brinkos. He leaves behind his son, daughter-in-law, and grand daughter and three step children and their families including nine grandchildren.
To honor his memory, in lieu of flowers, please make donations in his name to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Association, or Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. A viewing will be held at Simcox and McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 East Main Street, Lansdale, PA on December 19th from 10 am to 12 pm with a memorial service to follow at Noon.
