George J. Lordi, Jr. died peacefully in Pennsburg, PA on October 21st at the age of 80, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s and PSP.

George is survived by Virginia Lordi (wife), George J. Lordi III and Anthony Lordi (sons) and Christine Mackanich, Lisa Scenna, and Melissa A. Lordi-Liwen (daughters). He is preceded in death by parents George Lordi Sr (father), Helen Lordi (nee Demarco) (mother), Louis Lordi (brother), Denise Spear (nee Lordi) (sister), and Patricia Lordi (wife).

George was born in Philadelphia on May 18, 1942. He graduated from LaSalle High School (1960) and LaSalle College (1971), adding a Master’s degree from University of Kansas in 1976. George was a highly decorated Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, whose dedicated service included tours of duty in Vietnam and Korea.

Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2nd from 9-10:30am at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale, PA, with a funeral mass following thereafter. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Northeast Philadelphia.
