Lee Martin Weed III–4/28/2021

Leo Martin Weed III, age 59 of Lansdale, PA died in the early morning of April 28th, 2021.
Leo was born on June 11th, 1961 in Miami Florida to his beloved parents Leo Martin Weed II and Charlene Weed.

Leo is survived by his wife of nine years, Jane Weed. As well as his three children: Debra-Leigh Jankowski, Jillian Byers, Brandon Racik and his two grandchildren: Cameron and Devon Jankowski.

Leo grew up in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated from North Catholic High School in 1977. He furthered his education by pursuing his passion in Behavioral Health and Human Services, graduating from CCP with a Bachelor’s degree in 2009. This enabled him to do what he truly loved: helping people.

Never limiting his care-taking talents to just his friends and family, Leo found his true calling as a Substance Abuse Counselor. At Eagleville Hospital, Leo was admired for the buoyancy, showmanship, and devotion he brought to every session and every patient he met.

Those closest to Leo remember fondly his signature Superbowl parties, Christmas shopping extravaganzas, and the baseball games he organized at work. He loved hosting his daughter, Debra-Leigh, and grandchildren, at his home in Lansdale, where they’d laugh and play games. Leo was truly a big kid at heart. He brought everyone into a warm, happy childhood with each conversation they had with him. He loved to vacation locally, whitewater rafting in Jim Thorpe, PA, but also traveled to his beloved Disneyworld and Disneyland theme parks. Leo and Jane even ventured across the pond to Italy. Leo and Jane planned to eventually join their daughter, Jillian, in California, to enjoy their retirement in the sun. Leo exemplified the concept that the most rewarding feeling in life is that of helping others.

Leo loved the Philadelphia Flyers, Kiss, and John Wayne Movies. At home, he spent his time in the arms of his wife or building aircraft models, and collecting sports memorabilia.
Leo was a devoted Husband, Father, and a very proud Grandpop. He could often be heard boasting about how talented his grandkids were.

Anyone who has ever met Leo Weed will confirm they are substantially better for having had him in their life. He will be truly missed and fondly remembered.
