
From her own hand! —
Eleanor Josephine (Glowacki ) Kulik, a longtime, resident of Lansdale, formerly of Mount Carmel PA, died peacefully, on March 30, 2020 at her home. Born March 19, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Glowacki, and stepdaughter of Edward Novakoski. She attended Our Lady of Consolation Elementary school and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1946. She is the beloved wife of Henry A Kulik, whom she married on July 23rd, 1955 at Our Mother of Consolation Catholic Church in Mt. Carmel. Upon marriage she came to live in Lansdale to raise her four children. Mrs. Kulik chose to be a housewife. While her children were young, she volunteered her time at St. Stanislaus School. She was a room mother and worked in the learning center. She was a devoted member of St. Stanislaus Church and an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Mother’s Club, Summer Festival and Christmas Bazzar.
She and her husband loved to travel with Perkiomen Tours and the Harleysville Senior Center. She looked forward to her trips to Atlantic City and Sand’s in Bethlehem.
She is survived by her husband Henry, who celebrated their 64th anniversary in July and their four children- Henry and his wife Karen of Sellersville, Mary Gray and her husband George or Collegeville, Carol Cook and her husband Thomas of Quakertown and David at home.
She is the proud “Busia” Grandmother of fourteen grandchildren, Henry, Caroline, Natalie, Harrison, James, and Madeleine Kulik, Marissa , George, William and Douglas Gray. Stephanie, and twins Alexander and Anthony Cook and Leidy Scott Kriebel. As well as 12 and a half great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother Eugene Glowacki of Elysburg, a stepsister Evelyn Confair of Camp Hill and a stepbrother Frank Novakoski of Leymone. She was pre-ceeded in death by a sister Lorraine Crossley of Wormleysburg. She leaves many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends of the family. There will be a celebration of her life at a more appropriate date.
