Gail had a Bachelor of Arts and a Masters degree in Finance from Temple University. She worked as a financial analyst for FMC Corporation for 26 years.
Gail loved to travel and started a travel business in her free time. She managed the business until she could no longer work. Her love of adventure and new experiences took her and those she loved with her around the world from Yosemite to Tahiti, the Galapagos, Thailand and more.
Gail was well known for her love of animals and she regularly volunteered for the Ark Foundation caring for orphaned birds, squirrels, raccoons, and more so they could be released into their natural habitat. By far, her best animal friend was her dog, RD, a rescue that she convinced her husband to accept into the family.
Gail had an immense love for all of her family, whether traveling to Germany to visit her nephew, doting on her nieces, or simply playing with her grandchildren. Gail is survived by her mother, Alice Ashenfelter, her loving husband Thomas R.
