Giovanni Saldutti–3/8/2020

Giovanni Saldutti, age 90, of North Wales died Sunday, March 8, 2020 at his home.

Born on March 8, 1930 in the town of Montemarano, Italy he was the son of the late Giovanni and Anna (nee. Cresta) Saldutti.

After growing up and living in Italy until 1952, he immigrated first to Uruguay where he met his beloved wife Nelly (nee. Buzzetti) Saludutti and then in 1969 to the United States.

Mr. Saldutti was a Master Stone Mason as well as being a master of many other forms of construction involving stone, brick and concrete. He also worked at Philco Ford for many years until his retirement.

Throughout his life he maintained his love of the Old World and its traditions. 

Mr. Saldutti was a passionate fan of both Italian and Uruguayan Soccer. He was an avid and very skilled wine maker. Although he had many interests his true greatest love was for his family and many friends.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his beloved and devoted son John M. Saldutti.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA which will be followed by his Burial at Greenlawn Cemetery in North Wales.
