Robert A. Fondi, Sr. “Uncle Bob”, age 70, of Lansdale, formerly of Philadelphia (Germantown) died Wednesday morning, August 28, 2019.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia (nee Hammerschmidt) Fondi. Born on May 16, 1949 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Dominic and Agnes (nee Difeo) Fondi.

Bob graduated from North Catholic High School. He served his country Honorably with the United States Army stationed in Korea during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Bob worked as a Fire Security Installer. In addition to his wife he is survived by his loving children, Lori and Robert Fondi, Jr, stepsons Kevin Clugston (Janet), Ken Clugston (Pat), preceded in death by stepson Matthew Young and brother Richard Fondi. Also survived by brothers Louis Fondi (Sue), Tom Fondi (Marie) and sister Mary Mitchell (Jack) as well as many step grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446, where the Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
