Margaret “Maggie” Mary Gebbie Ousey, age 63, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and loved ones, on March 30, 2019 due to complications from cancer at Abington Jefferson Memorial Hospital.  She was born April 5, 1955 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to Margaret and Harry Gebbie.  She moved to Lansdale at a young age and considered the town her home.

Maggie loved the outdoors and was an avid fisher alongside her husband Tom.  They spent many summer afternoons in their boat on Green Lane Reservoir.  She also loved to read, a habit that she passed onto her children.  Maggie enjoyed good food, good wine, and socializing with her friends and family.  She had the ability to find humor in any situation and could brighten a room with her infectious laughter.

Maggie is survived by her husband Tom Ousey; brother and wife Fred and Mary Jo Gebbie, brother and wife Jerry and Mandy Gebbie, sister Trudy Gebbie, brother Tom Gebbie; her son Thomas John, and her son and fiancé Christopher and Christina; and many nephews and nieces.  All of these she loved and touched deeply.

Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday morning April 6, 2019, between 9:00 – 11:30 a.m. at Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA, 19446 with a mass to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
