Donald E. Messner, age 90, of Lansdale died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Abington Lansdale Hospital while surrounded by family. 

Born on February 11, 1934, in Lykens, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Hiram and Bessie (Rusbatch) Messner.

He was a 1952 graduate of the former Lykens High School and retired as a supervisor from Milton Roy Warminster, PA.

Don is survived by his loving wife, Joan, who was his high school sweetheart and were married for over 71 wonderful years. He was the devoted father of son Kimber (Joy) and daughter Suzette. He was a loving Pop to 4 grandchildren Shane (Kelsey), Reid (Jenna), Kitara (Jonathan), Tanis and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both parents and siblings Mae, Harold, Herbert, Clarence, Clyde, and Edward.

He loved traveling and enjoyed watching all types of sports teams. He treasured spending time with his family and friends.

Don was a long-time member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

We will miss him dearly.
