Frances B. Morton, age 78, of Lansdale, PA., passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, at her home at Elm Terrace Gardens.  

Born on January 7, 1946, in Stamford, Connecticut she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Doris (nee Rexter) Gudz.

She was preceded by her beloved husband Alfred Morton whom she married on September 15, 1990, in Norwalk, Connecticut. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Gudz.

Frances led a very diverse life, having been a Nun for 15 years and then later a teacher for 40 years, while also being a wife.

Her life was centered on helping people, especially children, and she truly was a friend to all.

Surviving are her brother George Gudz and his wife Stephanie, her sister, Sr. Immaculene Gudz, niece Samantha Gudz and nephews, Thomas and Christopher Gudz and Dane and Brent Morton as well as good friend Doris.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where her family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:15 AM in Church, prior to Mass. Interment will be private at a later date.

Thank you to everyone at Elm Terrace that welcomed Franny and helped her to blossom in her newfound Independence.
