The life of our loved one, Charles “Chaz” Patrick Sulzbach Jr., was tragically taken from him at only 36 years old. He passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Chaz is survived by his wife, Kristen Marie; their three children, Alexandria, Charles J., and Xavier; Parents, Charles P. and Esther Sulzbach; sister Amber Sulzbach; grandparents Lena Felderhoff, Dorothy Sulzbach, and Charles H. Sulzbach Jr. (Rosemarie); as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Albert Joerger, Carl and Dorothy Rangnow and Charles H. Sulzbach; grandfather Alfred Felderhoff; and uncles Robert Beck and James Sulzbach.
After graduating from high school, Chaz became a Journeyman with the I.B.E.W. Local 98. He proudly served as a Foreman at Penn Presbyterian Hospital and 205 Race Street Apartments.
Chaz had a passion for weight lifting. He enjoyed buying and collecting tools, knives, and gadgets. In his free time, he loved working on cars with his children, modifying them with the best upgrades (the cars, not the children!). He also enjoyed designing and building upgrades for his home through his passion for woodworking. Chaz spent summers cultivating a vegetable garden and maintaining fruit trees in the yard with his family.
Chaz’s pride and joy in his life were his three children, Lexi, Chase, and Xavier. He lived for them. They shared Chaz’s sweet tooth and together they loved lounging on the couch watching cartoons, while indulging in snacks, especially candy and ice cream.
Chaz closely resembled his mother “Mama Dukes” in looks and spirit. They shared a close bond and a similar sense of humor. Chaz was quick-witted with many one-liners. A notable motto that served as a common theme in his life,
“If it isn’t too much, it isn’t enough.”
Family and friends are invited to join in celebration of Chaz’s life.
