Catherine (nee. Valeo) Storti, age 101, of Lansdale, passed away peacefully at her home, on Sunday, February 19, 2023.   

Born in Ambler she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Santa Barbara (nee. D’Amico) Valeo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Louis J. Storti who passed away in January of 1988.   

After moving to Lansdale in 1946, she had a long career working at Philco Ford Visteon, where she held many different positions in her almost 30 years.   

Mrs. Storti was a devout Catholic and volunteered for many activities at her beloved Parish of St. Stanislaus. She loved to praise her God through song. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph Choir, St. Stanislaus Choir and the Arch-diocesan Choir at the Cathedral of Ss. Peter and Paul. One of the highlights of her life was singing for Saint John Paul II, when he made his historic Papal visit to Philadelphia.   

She is survived by her devoted daughter Maria (Micky) Vinci, two loving grandchildren Lenny and his wife Amanda and Christina Vinci, and two great granchildren Rory and Merritt Vinci as well as one sister, Mary Wozniak. 

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded by a son, John P. Storti and two sisters, Jenny Ferrara and Frances Reiff. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, February 24, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446, where her family will receive friends in Church, prior to Mass from 9:30 to 10:15 AM.  Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Norristown.
