Ruth M. Adams (nee Krogulski), age 88, of Quakertown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, December 16th, 2021.

She was born in Nanticoke, Pa., on August 30, 1933, the daughter of the late Leo and Eleanor (Kolakowski) Krogulski.

She graduated from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. She met her soul mate and love of her life, Charles M. Adams, while caring for his mom. They were married on June 25, 1955, and were married for 50 years before his passing in April 2005. She was an RN and worked at Villa of Divine Providence as Supervisor of Nurses for more than 30 years. She was an amazing mother to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed.

She was a Penn State fan and enjoyed gardening, and arts and crafts. She was a very social person and had a great sense of humor.

Preceding her in death is her husband Charles M. Adams, a son Leon Adams, and a grandson Jeffrey Adams. She was also preceded in death by her brother Leon V. Krogulski who died August 9, 2021.

Surviving are her sons Charles Adams, Hatfield, Pa., Michael Adams (late Jane Longfellow Adams) of Quakertown, Pa., and Jeffrey Adams (Suzanne Matthews Adams), a daughter-in-law Janice Longfellow Adams (wife of the late Leon Adams). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from Noon-1:30 pm, at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home at 532 East Main Street in Lansdale, Pa. 19446.

Interment is at Whitemarsh Memorial Park at 2 pm.
