Kathleen Slotter (nee. Holsonback), 72, of Lansdale, Pa, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
She was born, January 31, 1949, in Lansdale Pa, to Robert and Teresa (Matthews) Holsonback.
Kathy was married 49 years to her soulmate, Jim. She enjoyed reading, taking family trips to Sea Isle, going to the theater shows, but most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Family was everything to her. Nothing gave her greater joy then to spend time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, Robert (1984) and Teresa (2006) Holsonback and her infant son, Joseph (1978).
She is survived by her beloved husband Jim Slotter, her sons, Andy Slotter, wife Colleen, their children, Rileigh and Gavin. Greg Slotter, wife Kate, their children, Ryan and Emma. Jamie Slotter, wife Amanda, their children, Sloane and Mia.
She is also survived by her brothers, Robert B. Holsonback, Jr., wife, Becky, and Michael Holsonback, wife, Terri. Her sister Tessa O’Brien, husband, Kevin. Her sister-in-law, Susie Schmittinger and brother-in-law Bill Slotter. Her nephews, Steve Holsonback, Michael Holsonback Jr. Her nieces, Julie Bonekemper, Casey Slotter, Ashley Benner, Danielle Herb and Maggie O’Brien. Great nieces, Becky Kerver, Isla Herb and Ada Benner. Great, great nephew Owen Snyder. Her aunts, Agnes Dager, Sally Matthews, Doris Donaghy and Wilma Hazel and her uncle, Jerry Burke. Many, many, beloved cousins and friends.
Kathy was born in Lansdale, the first born child of Teresa and Robert Holsonback. She was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School. She worked as a secretary for several years at Hansen Textiles in Hatfield. She left work when she became a Mom, to raise her three boys. She worked various part-time jobs at North Penn Transfer and Accupac, while raising her boys. She returned back to work at first as a secretary and then became an EKG technician for North Penn Hospital. She moved from there to work for Cardiology Consultants, Lansdale office, which she retired from in July, 2010.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, beginning at 9:30 AM, on Thursday morning, April 15, 2021, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA 19440, which will be followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Her interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.
