Betty Jean Nash, 91, of Spring House, Pa., died of natural causes at Spring House Estates, Ambler, Pa., on January 22, 2021.

Betty was born June 3, 1929, in Spring City, Pa., to William Mayberry and Anna Ingram Jaeger. She spent her childhood in Lansdale, Pa. living with her mother and her loving stepfather August “Gus” Jaeger.  She graduated from Lansdale High School, Class of 1947.

After graduation Betty worked with a number of local industries in Lansdale but she eventually spent most of her working career in customer service at Precision Tube Co. in Lansdale, Pa.

In 1983, Betty married John D. Nash (deceased) in Prospectville, Pa. and she spent 25 wonderful years with her beloved “Jack” in Hatfield, PA.  She lived in the same house in Hatfield for 60 years.

She enjoyed golf, gardening, meeting people and spending time with friends and family.

Betty was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Hilltown, Pa. for her entire adult life. She spoke often about her love for her church and her many friends there.

She is survived by her son, James Alexander (Virginia) of Sellersville, PA, and her grandchildren—James M. of Montgomeryville, Christine Alexander Quinn (Kevin) of Kimberton, and Stephen (Kristi) of Malvern, all in Pennsylvania. She has three great-grandchildren—Zoe, Sloane, and Carter. 

Services were private out of concern for the health and safety of Betty’s relatives and friends.
