James Stortenbecker passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. He was born December 29, 1941, in Lansdale Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his father, James, his mother, Caroline, and his step-mother, Hilda.
James had a sister and 3 brothers.
James is survived by his wife, Patricia; his three children—Dawn, Carol (and husband Keith), and Bryan; his grandchildren—Jessyca, Ted, Kyle, Kathleen, Gabriel, Kimberly, Alex, Kristina, Johnny, and his great grandchildren—Arianna, Olyvia, JJ, Braydon, Nova, Kaysen, Danny, Isla, and Laelia.
James was a 1961 Graduate of North Penn High School and has an Associate’s degree from the University of Maryland.
James served 21 years in the Army and retired as a SFC.
James loved to play extreme sports such as miniature golf and volunteered for 15 years at the St. Stanislaus garage sale.
Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021, at St Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale. The family will receive visitors from 9:30 to 10:30AM with a Funeral Mass to follow.
