Mary Barbara Cicula (nee Grohol), age 90, a resident of Hatfield, Pa., passed away at Gwynedd Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Lansdale, Pa.

She was born March 22, 1935, in Hazleton, Pa., to parents John and Mary Grohol. She had five siblings, Theresa, Elaine, Christine, Barbara, and John, Jr.

Mary married Robert Andrew Cicula at St. Joseph Roman Catholc Church, Hazleton, Pa., on September 17, 1955. They had three daughters, Marie (James) Zimmerman who lives in Delaware, Sharon (Frank) Auriemma and Jane and (David) Bamford, both living in Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her spouse, Robert and children. She is also survived by siblings, Christine Kish, Barbara Massa and John Grohol, Jr., as well as grandchildren and their spouses, in birth order, Tyler and Anne Bamford, Jeremy Zimmerman, Jenarosa and Anthony Brinkley, Colton Bamford and Meg Aske, Christina Auriemma and Ray Norris, and Franco Auriemma. A great-grandchild, Baby Bamford, is on the way.

Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Fisher & Porter in Warminster, Pa. 

She loved bingo and bowling.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mary’s Funeral Mass which will be held on, Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 11 am, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, Pa. Visitation will precede Mass from 10 am to 10:50 am.
