Grace DiGiondomenico Martin—10/30/2025

Grace DiGiondomenico Martin, age 54, of Harleysville, passed away peacefully, on her own terms, whilst her son held her hand on Thursday, October 30, 2025, in Buckingham, Pa.

Born June 26th, 1971, in Lansdale, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marianne (Esposito) DiGiondomenico. Grace attended Lansdale Catholic High School, graduating in 1989, before working for Holl and Associates law firm. She retired early to become a devoted stay-at-home mother.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Marianne, and her twin babies Matthew and Marianne Martin. She is survived by her sister Lisa (Mark), brother Ralph, son Justin (CJ), daughter Allison, niece Sophia, and nephew Mason, step mother Antionette DiGiondomenico and step brother Frank Volpe, as well as many other cousins, aunts, and uncles in her enormous Italian family.

Grace was born and raised in Lansdale and never traveled far. After buying a home and starting a family with Matthew Martin, they moved their family to Hatfield in 1999 and settled in for 19 years. In 2018 she moved to her final residence in Harleysville.

In Grace’s own words, she wants to be remembered as a strong woman who was funny, sarcastic, and someone who loved to laugh at both herself and others. Mom was a woman bursting with love, so much so that you could hear it gushing out of her with every hug. She was a fierce mother that loved everybody that loved her, and she could smell a facade a mile away. Although she had MS, she never wanted to be defined by her disease. Instead, she wants to be known for her passion of cooking, and love for finding a good deal at the Dollar Store and Big Lots (Biggies) in Lansdale.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the American Cancer Society or local MS support groups.

Grace’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale PA, 19446, at 11AM, on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Visitation will be prior to Mass from 9AM to 10:45AM.  Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.  Luncheon will follow. For those unable to attend Thursday, there will be visitation on Wednesday evening November 5th from 6PM to 8PM at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E Main street, Lansdale PA, 19446.

  1. So many great memories of Gracie and the DiGions starting when we were 5 in tap dancing class. Moms became fast friends and thus started the adventures and laughs. I feel so blessed to have spent hours with Gracie, Mary Mary and Lisa, frequently at The Spice Smuggler, laughing till we cried and our faces hurt. Her smile brought a light like no other. My heart goes out to Matt , CJ and Allison, the DiGion family and the many people who loved Grace.
    Love, Shannon (Mack) Hallock
