Richard Michael Bradley—1/18/2026

June 20, 1948 – January 18, 2026

Richard Michael Bradley, 77, of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at Elm Terrace Gardens, surrounded by those who loved him.

Born in Philadelphia to Jack and Rosemary Bradley, Rick was one of nine children, a household where a quick wit and a good story were survival skills. He mastered both.

Rick attended Philadelphia Textile and earned his master’s degree from Drexel University. He spent his career in sales, a natural fit for a charming storyteller who could talk to anyone. Ask anyone who knew him, and they’ll tell you he was happiest on the golf course, or with his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Rick is survived by his loving partner, Bridget Boychak; the mother of his children, Elaine Bradley; his daughters Jaclyn Bradley (Brett Mayfield), Megan Bradley (Bill Sullivan), and Patricia Bradley (Matthew Adams); Bridget’s children Kristen (Tom Pendergraft), Jennifer (Nathan Power), and Justin (Lindsey Boychak); and his cherished grandchildren Hannah Reardon, Emily and Molly Mayfield, Jack and Lucy Sullivan, Madelyn and Bradley Rose Adams, Ava Pendergraft, and Remi Boychak. He is also survived by his sisters Marie Zajick (Kenny), Barbara McCullagh, and Jane Barrett, and his brothers Paul (Wendy), John (Lisa), and Michael (Maureen) Bradley. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Patricia and Nancy Bradley, and brothers-in-law Murray Barrett and Mike McCullagh.

In his final years, Rick faced Primary Progressive Aphasia with quiet courage. Even as words became harder to find, his kindness and love remained unmistakable. In a final act of generosity, so fitting for a man who gave so freely in life, Rick donated his brain to the University of Pennsylvania to advance research and help others facing this devastating disease.

A receiving will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:50 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale, PA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Cedarbrook Country Club. All are welcome to join the family in celebrating Rick’s life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick’s memory to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration.
