Michael English-6/15/2026

In Loving Memory of Michael English

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael, who departed this life at the age of 69.

Michael was born in Philadelphia, spending his early years in Mt. Airy before moving to Lansdale, PA and later living in Hatfield, PA.

Michael was a hardworking and dedicated man whose strong work ethic was evident throughout his life. Over the years, he held a variety of positions, including construction work, fork truck operation, mailroom supervision, and employment with a cabinet-making company. No matter the job, he took pride in his work and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Michael found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He loved fishing, hunting, and camping, and cherished every opportunity to spend time in nature. Whether casting a line at his favorite fishing spot, sitting quietly in the woods, or gathering around a campfire, he found peace and happiness in the simple pleasures of life.

More than anything, Michael treasured the friendships he built throughout the years. He enjoyed spending time with friends, sharing stories, laughter, and memories that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His easygoing nature, sense of humor, and loyal friendship touched many lives.

Michael will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, love of the outdoors, and the kindness he showed to family and friends. Though he will be deeply missed, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 25th at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St. Lansdale, PA 1944 at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Michael’s ashes will be scattered in a location that was special to him at a later date.

“Gone fishing beyond the horizon but never forgotten.”

Michael is survived by his siblings, William and his wife Lori of Midlothian, VA , Mary and her husband Larry of Douglasville, PA , Deborah and her husband Thomas of Souderton, PA, Kelly and her husband Michael of Doylestown, PA and Helen and her partner Greg of  North Wales, PA in addition to many nieces and nephews. Michael is preceded in death by his Parents, William and Mary English.

May he rest in peace.
