Francis Robert “Bob” Zemanek, age 83, of Lansdale, PA passed away on Jan 27, 2026.  

He was born in Erie PA on May 13,1942 and was the son of the late Frank Zemanek and Anna (Osinski) Zemanek.

Bob was the loving husband of the late Patricia Zemanek (nee Miller) for over 45 years.

He is survived by his son Todd R. Zemanek, and his wife Carol and daughter Kristin A. Carey, and her husband Joshua as well as his grandson Connor A. Carey.   

He was special to all his friends and family, especially Mary Patricia McGowan, Bob’s loving companion of the last several years.

Bob was the youngest of three siblings.  

His sister’s Jean M. Zemanek and Judith A. Zemanek preceded him in death.

Bob worked at Burroughs/Unisys in various roles for over 46 years.

He was an accomplished violinist, playing for Erie’s junior philharmonic

Bob loved biking, testing his luck at playing the slot machines, was a long time fisherman, and enjoyed traveling and going to the beach.

He served his country in the National Guard Army Reserves, from September of 1962 until August of 1965.

Bob supported The Friends of the North  Wales Library charitable organization for many years. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Bob’s Funeral Mass, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, where his family will receive friends from 10 to 10:50 AM, in the Church Narthex, prior to Mass.

Interment at a later date.
