Salvatore J. Castorina, Sr., age 89, of Lansdale passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Elm Terrace Gardens.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Geraldine (nee Elmaker) Castorina.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Lena (nee Sabato) Castorina.

Mr. Castorina was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and St. Joseph’s University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree.

He went on to work at Merck and Co. for 39 years, where he was a successful Business Manager.

Mr. Castorina enjoyed playing golf and even famously had a hole in one. The most important part of his golf rounds was getting together with his friends.

Throughout his life he was a fan of all the Philly Sports teams.

In addition to his wife Geraldine, he is survived by his grandson, Salvatore J. Castorina, III, and a sister Marie Poserina.

He was preceded in death by his loving son Salvatore J. Castorina, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA 19446, where there will be a Viewing from 9:30 to 10:20 AM, in Church prior to Mass.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Salvatore’s name can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital .
