Edward J. Fabick, Jr, age 73, of Lansdale passed away Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Maureen (nee Vizzard) Fabick, whom he married on May 9, 1975 at St. Stanislaus Church.
Born in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Edward J. Fabick, Sr., and Frances (nee Gutowski) Fabick.
Ed attended Penn State University and graduated from Textile College with a Bachelor’s Degree.
He served his country Honorably with the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.
Ed worked as a quality control inspector for the Budd Company which was formerly located in North Philadelphia.
Throughout his life he was very active in the Boy Scouts.
He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, but was most passionate about Philadelphia Eagles Football.
The South Jersey Shore was Ed’s favorite place to vacation and while there he loved to fish.
Above all things, family was most important and he relished his role as a husband and father.
In addition to his wife Maureen, he is survived by his son, Edward, J. Fabick, III and his wife Candida, daughter, Elizabeth Fabick, grandchildren, Edward J. Fabick, IV and Patty Fabick, brother, Ronald Fabick and sister, Elaine J. Cole and her husband Randall, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his beloved son Brian Fabick in 2013.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ed’s Funeral Mass, on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA 19446, where his viewing will take place from 9 to 10:15 AM, in Church, prior to Mass.
Inurnment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions in Ed’s name can be made to the Montgomery County-Norristown Public Library’s Bookmobile, 1001 Powell St., Norristown, PA 19401.
