Warren Michael Lynch (MIKE), age 75, of the Abington/Willow Grove area, PA left us on Wednesday, December 24, 2025.
Mike passed on to a better place at The Ambler Extended Care Center, Ambler, PA
He was born to Ruth Ella Lynch on the 18th day of February 1950 in Abington hospital, Abington, Pennsylvania. Mike is survived by his loving son, Michael James Lynch, whom he loved dearly, his son’s mother, Doris Lynch, his brother James Richard Lynch and James’ wife Joyce Lynch with his four nieces Nena, Seya, Ali, and Maria.
Mike was graduated from Saint David’s Elementary School and Abington High School.
He was a talented athlete winning a full scholarship for track and field events as seen by his beating the Olympic decathlon gold medal winner Bruce Jenner in an intercollegiate race. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marine biology at Northwestern Missouri State University.
Mike worked with his brother as an expeditor for The Philadelphia Builders, ensuring that all projects were satisfactorily completed helping to grow this company to be the third largest remodeling company in Pennsylvania according to Qualified Remodeler magazine
Mike trained his dogs to be his closest companions. He did not have to say a command to his pit bull, Ralph, since the dog understood what Mike wanted before Mike uttered a word.
His favorite shows on TV were 1960’s Westerns like “Gunsmoke” and “Maverick,” but he would never let these shows interfere with watching the Eagles, Phillies, or Sixers.
Everyone who knew Mike loved him. He was always able to get away with inappropriate behavior because he was able to make people laugh at things that other people would frown at.
Although Mike was physically impaired by a stroke in the year 2000, he never gave up doing what he liked and helping the people he loved.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM, on Friday, January 16, 2026 at the Simcox- McIlvaine Funeral Home at 536 East Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
