Ronald Charles Schillow, 77, died on December 27, 2025. 

Born in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia, Ron and his family moved to the North Penn area in 1957. He attended Saint Rose of Lima grade school and Lansdale Catholic high school. He graduated from Virginia Wesleyan College, Norfolk, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Science.

During his diverse sales career, he was employed by regional, national and international consumer products companies. Making a career change, his most recent full-time employer was Abington Health Lansdale Hospital as a Patient Access Registrar. He retired in August, 2013. 

Ron’s hobbies included golf, travel/sports/human interest photography, working out at the YMCA, and participating and watching a variety of sporting events. He especially enjoyed watching the North Penn Knights cross country/track teams and their swim team, as well as the Towamencin summer swim team.

A founding member of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd, North Wales PA 19454, Ron was active in the Usher‘s Association and Adult Singles Group.

Ron is survived by a brother, Robert (Nguyet) of Lansdale; 4 nieces and nephews: Thomas (Tiffany Heller) of North Wales; Diane Holdsambeck (Mark) of Fairhope, AL; Richard (Jenley Gould) of Blairsville, PA; Natalie Livingston (Lucas) of Simpsonville, SC; and grand nieces and nephews: Briella, Brooklyn, Brick, Maddox, Louie, Joseph, and Caliana.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Church on Saturday (address above), January 3 at 11 AM, receiving beginning at 10 AM. Internment will follow at St. John Newman Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd, Chalfont, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Catholic Education Center at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church would be appreciated.
