Margaret Farina, age 102,  passed away on Aug 8, 2025, at the Community at Rockhill in Sellersville. 

She was born on July 21, 1923 as Margaret Henderson to parents John and Lily in Liverpool England.

She grew up on the same streets as the before-Beatles child Paul McCartney. 

She worked at the post office in England. She met her life-long U.S. husband, Paul Farina (who passed in 2018) during World War 2; he was in the 101st Airborne Division. They married in 1944. 

Madge lived in Florida for a few years but lived mostly in the same Lansdale house for 57 years in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. 

She worked for Merck on the production lines for many years. 

She had 3 surviving children who all live in the area, Elaine, Paula, and David, and now has 11 grandchildren (Vicki, Cindy, Kimmy, Jonathon, Michael, Sarah, Bobby, Nicky, Kenny, Evan, Olivia), 10 great grandchildren (Ryan, Heather, Ariel, Sebastian, Christian, Corrine, Riley, Liam, Anthony, Chase) and 2 great great grandchildren (Charlee, Pauly).  She has 3 deceased siblings, Nin Addicott, John Henderson and Jimmy Henderson. 

Over the years Margaret enjoyed traveling, sewing, cooking for family gatherings and more recently the Phillies.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale, Pa 19446 on Friday August 15, 2025, where there will be a Viewing prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM. 

Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, followed by a luncheon at the Joseph Ambler Inn.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Margaret’s name to a charity of your choice.
